Springtime is here and so is the blooming of one of my favorite flowers, the hyacinth!
The scent of hyacinth reminds me of childhood and a dear neighbor who grew them.
It is amazing to me the power of scent.

One of my favorite scents is the smell of warm toast with butter and strawberry jam. It's a very specific scent, and it takes me back to my grandmother's breakfast table every time.
