Guess who came to celebrate my birthday tonight?!  Yep, that's Ralph's BFF, Swiper the Fox.  They had fun playing while the adults had fun catching up.  So happy to see those of you who could make it out to my pre-birthday dinner!

Ralph is in mourning over Swiper being lost in the berry patch.  

Pantry (107/365)

Although my pantry may not be as orderly as that in Swiper's house, Ralph can find what he wants just fine.

Dream (84/365)

Suddenly, Ralph woke with a start!  Heart racing and nearly in a panic, he realized that it was all a dream!  He knew Swiper was his buddy and, despite what everyone had said, it IS possible for a fish and a fox to be friends.  Swiper wouldn't eat Ralph...too many bones and not enough meat to satisfy a fox's hunger.  Feeling better, Ralph drifted back into a dreamless, restful sleep.

I am so disappointed in this picture, but it is 11:45pm and I no longer have access to Swiper, so I'm posting it!  It was taken tonight at the 365 artist's meet-up at Mekong.  Such a lovely evening, with such lovely people!  It was great to visit with old friends, finally meet with some others in "real life," and to meet some altogether new folks.  I hope everyone else had as much fun as me.

This picture is a collaboration with Jess Lucia of the blog, "Play by Play," one of my favorite 365 projects.  I was SO EXCITED to actually meet Swiper the Fox, who plays a large role in her project, much like Ralph does in mine.  Thanks, Jess, for sharing Swiper with me; I apologize for the picture not doing him justice!
